Powers of Ten of WOW!

It was an amazing Powers of Ten Day at the Eames Office, Eames House and around the world. Thanks to all who participated–there were about 50,000 viewings on YouTune alone.

So, PLEASE: Tell us your stories. Send them to info@eamesoffice.com, or post comments here.

PICTURES??? Then upload them to our Powers of Ten Day Celebration Flickr group. If you haven’t joined yet, don’t worry: we’ll let you in.

And, BTW, since it is continuing to be an amazing Powers of Ten Month around the world, we are pretty confident that the 1000 days of Scale are going to be magic.

(But, we do ask you to please cut us a bit of slack as we gather images and stories for this blog. There are some events posted, but alot more to come!)

Amazing photos. Congrats and thanks. Shows the power and size of nature’s scale.

This film help to reduce the size of our egos. They should help countries, organisations and people to cooperate and resolve their conflicts.

The Powers of Ten dinner at the Eames House was a spectacular night. Yes, the food was tasty, yes the exhibit at the Eames Office is endlessly engaging (I enjoy a different aspect of it each time I visit 850 Pico), and yes the house looked wonderful in the moonlight (or was it Eameslight?). But the best thing about the evening was the company: the great assembly of creative, engaged, passionate people. I had more good conversations that night than I have had in all the previous 9 months combined. Kudos to our hosts, the Eames family, and their sponsors. Special bonus, many folks from Herman Miller were there, and, many former Eames Office staffers, to rub shoulders with. I’m looking forward to next year’s 10/10 extravaganza.
