On 8/8/88, it was the first night baseball game for the Cubs at Wrigley Field. (10⁺²) Princess Beatrice was born to the Duke and Duchess of York in England and her sister Eugenie was born two years later to the day. (10⁺¹)

The opening of the Olympics in Beijing began at 8:08:08pm on 8/8/8. (10⁺⁷) Many couples chose 8/8/8 as an auspicious date to get married since if you turn the 8 on its side, it is the symbol for infinity and eternity. (10⁺²⁶) Here are some ideas of what to give on the 8th anniversary! (10⁺¹)
